This July we invited friends, dealers, and industry insiders down to our HQ in Function Junction, Whistler (Squamish North to some). The evening was billed as 'an evening of art and culture inspired by cycling.' To be honest I don't really think any of us knew how the space would turn out, but in true Chromag fashion it all seemed to come together into an event that not one single mind could have planned. While the mastermind was Ian 'el hefe' himself, it was pretty cool to watch the whole team get on board and put their own creative spin on showcasing what Chromag art & culture meant.
While we knew we wanted to showcase some of the amazing pieces of art that have been created here over the years, we also wanted to create some new exhibits. Pairing art and some of the beautiful bikes and components that we've created was the goal. A clear way to do this was to team up with Fresh Paints to custom paint a couple of stunning frames. Building them up with matching Chromag components and SRAM parts kits topped them off. You can also find these beauties now in our Bike Shed.
Adding to the vibe we also showcased a couple of prototype bikes we've been working on...

Overall bikes were built, art was created, beverages were drank, food was consumed and lots of words and laughs were shared. Good times.
Thanks to everyone for coming to experience Chromatic.
